Ahmadinejad: US Behind 9/11 Attacks

At the United Nations, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said
Thursday that most people believe the US government was responsible for
the attacks of September 11. The US delegation responded to the comment
by leaving in protest. Ahmadinejad also criticized the US for the
invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: “It was said that some 3,000 people were killed on
the 11th of September, for which we are all very saddened. Yet, up until
now, in Afghanistan and Iraq, hundreds of thousands of people have been
killed, millions wounded and displaced, and the conflict is still going
on and expanding.”
