Groups File Suit over Laptop Searches

The US government is facing a lawsuit seeking to end searches of
international travelers’ laptops and other electronic devices without
probable cause. On Tuesday, the American Civil Liberties Union and two
other groups filed suit asking a judge to declare the searches
unconstitutional. The lawsuit says over 6,500 people have had their
electronic devices searched at US border crossings in the past two
years.
