60 Civilians Reported Dead in Syria Crackdown

The Syrian government has carried out some of its deadliest operations
in months, with at least 60 civilians reportedly killed over the past
three days. At least 35 people were killed on Friday when Syrian forces
opened fire on protesters in the restive cities of Homs and Hama.
According to activist groups, many of the victims were killed when
Syrian forces hunted them down in house to house raids.
