Texas: 1,000 Evacuated Following Fire at Chemical Plant

In Texas, some 1,000 people were briefly evacuated Monday when a
chemical plant south of Dallas erupted in flames and burned out of
control for several hours. The fire occurred at a plant owned by the
Magnablend corporation. Chemicals on site included hydrochloric acid,
nitric acid and phosphoric acid.
