U.S. Set to Plan Post-2014 Troop Deployment in Afghanistan

The Obama administration has announced it will likely decide in the
coming weeks on the role of U.S. troops in Afghanistan after a scheduled
withdrawal in 2014. On Monday, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said
although the majority of U.S. forces will return home, an unspecified
number could stay behind to continue military operations.
