Syrian Activists Report Massacre Near Damascus

In Syria, opposition activists are accusing pro-government forces of
killing up to 500 people, many of them civilians, during a nearly
week-long campaign in a suburb of the capital Damascus. They said more
than 100 deaths have already been documented. If verified, the incident
would be among the bloodiest since the uprising against President Bashar
al-Assad began two years ago.
