45th Anniversary of MLK's Assassination in Memphis

Today marks the 45th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. The civil rights leader and peace activist was gunned
down April 4, 1968, at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr.
King was in Memphis to march with sanitation workers demanding a better
wage. He was 39.
