Judge to Deliberate Sentence for Bradley Manning

Army Col. Denise Lind says she will begin deliberating the prison
sentence for whistleblower Bradley Manning today. Manning faces up to 90
years in prison for leaking troves of secret documents to Wiki Leaks.
Government prosecutors said Manning should be sentenced to 60 years,
saying he "deserves to spend the majority of his remaining life" in
prison. Manning's defense lawyer said his sentence should not surpass 25
years, the period of time after which many of the leaked documents would
have been declassified automatically.
