Mubarak Wins Re-Trial in Challenge of Life Sentence

An Egyptian court has granted a re-trial to former Egyptian president
Hosni Mubarak in his appeal of a life sentence for failing to stop the
killing of unarmed demonstrators during the protests that ended
Mubarak’s nearly 30-year rule. Mubarak will be re-tried along with his
top security aide, Habib el-Adly, who was convicted on the same charges.
