European Union Cuts Ties to Israeli Settlements

The European Union meanwhile has announced a new policy aimed at cutting
ties with Israeli institutions linked to the settlements. The EU will
now ban dealings with any Israeli entity that operates on occupied
Palestinian land. Such groups would be barred from receiving EU grants,
prizes and loans.
