Obama: "No Evidence" Keystone XL Will Create Many Jobs

President Obama has offered new hope to Keystone XL opponents by
questioning the pipeline's ability to create jobs. Speaking to The New
York Times, Obama said: "Republicans have said that this would be a big
jobs generator. There is no evidence that that's true." In his major
address on climate policy last month, Obama tied his decision on the
pipeline to its net impact on global warming.
