Food Network Drops Paula Deen's Show Following Racism Scandal

The Food Network has announced its cancelling celebrity chef Paula
Deen's TV program after she admitted using racial slurs. Deen has
apologized for the behavior, which came to light as part of a lawsuit
brought by a former manager of a restaurant owned by Deen and her
brother. The worker said employees were subjected to sexual harassment
and racist comments. Deen has also admitted she considered planning a
"plantation-style" wedding for her brother by hiring all-black waiters.
