Report: U.S. to Let Spy Agencies Monitor Financial Data

The Obama administration is reportedly drafting plans to let U.S. spy
agencies monitor the financial data of Americans and others who bank in
the United States. According to Reuters, the measure would expand access
to the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network from
just the Federal Bureau of Investigation to also include the Central
Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency.
