White House Spokesperson Downplays Keystone XL Pipeline's Impact

The State Department review marked a major boost to the Keystone XL
pipeline's chances as President Obama nears a decision in the coming
weeks. On Friday, White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Josh
Earnest rejected fears the Keystone XL would have a devastating impact
on the environment. Speaking on Air Force One, Earnest said: "Thousands
of miles of pipelines have been built since President Obama took office
inside the U.S., and it hasn't had a measurable impact on climate
change."
