Former U.S. Soldier Accused of Fighting Alongside al-Qaeda in Syria

A U.S. Army veteran has been detained on charges of fighting alongside
an al-Qaeda group battling Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The
soldier, Eric Harroun, reportedly took part in attacks on Assad's forces
earlier this year. He was arrested after returning to the United States.
