Senate Panel Advances Yellen Nomination

Janet Yellen has moved a step closer to confirmation as the next chair
of the Federal Reserve. On Thursday, the Senate Banking Committee
advanced Yellen's nomination to a full Senate vote. Yellen would become
the first woman to head the Federal Reserve.
