Obama Apologizes for Health Insurance Cancellations

President Obama has apologized to Americans who are losing their current
health insurance plans under his health reform law, despite his repeated
assurances they could keep their policies. Obama issued the apology in
an interview with NBC News.

President Obama: "I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this
situation based on assurances they got from me. We've got to work hard
to make sure that they know we hear them and that we're going to do
everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough
position as a consequence of this."

The Obama administration is reportedly set today to release long-awaited
rules requiring equal insurance coverage for mental health and
addiction.
