Radiation Level Near Fukushima Reactor Hits Highest Level in 2 Years

In Japan, radiation in seawater around a damaged reactor at the
Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has hit its highest level in two years.
The plant's operator said contaminated soil was displaced by pressure as
workers pumped chemicals into the ground in attempt to harden it and
prevent water from leaking into the ocean. On Wednesday, the operator
said six workers were doused with radioactive water after an employee
mistakenly detached a pipe connected to a water treatment system.
