Kerry, Karzai at Odds over Immunity for U.S. Troops

Secretary of State John Kerry and Afghan President Hamid Karzai have
agreed on the key points of a deal that would keep U.S. troops in
Afghanistan beyond next year. But the two sides remain at odds over the
U.S. insistence that its troops be guaranteed immunity from prosecution
under Afghan law. Kerry said the issue is a deal-breaker for the United
States.
