Islamic State Letter to Foley's Parents: Execution a "Direct Result" of U.S. Airstrikes

The United States has launched at least 90 airstrikes against Islamic
State militants in Iraq since its bombardment began two weeks ago. On
Thursday, the Global Post released the full text of the last email James
Foley's family received from the militants, which calls Foley's
execution a "DIRECT result" of U.S. airstrikes. "You and your citizens
will pay the price of your bombings!" they wrote.
