Barclays Bank Cuts Thousands of Jobs, Raises Bonuses

Barclays bank is planning to cut up to 12,000 jobs while raising bonuses
for its investment bankers. Barclays says up to 9 percent of its workers
may lose their jobs, even as the bank raised bonuses at its investment
bank by 13 percent, paying out nearly $4 billion last year.
