U.S. Prepares for Oil and Gas Exploration in Atlantic

The Interior Department has endorsed seismic exploration for oil and gas
in Atlantic waters. The American Petroleum Institute praised the move
that could open up new areas for drilling, but the conservation group
Oceana said exploration "could be a death sentence for many marine
mammals."
