Target Bans Guns in All Stores Following National Petition

The retail giant Target has banned the carrying of guns in all of its
stores nationwide, even in states where it is legal. In a statement,
Target said carrying weapons "is at odds with the family-friendly
shopping and work experience we strive to create." The move comes after
the gun control group Moms Demand Action launched a national petition in
response to pro-gun advocates who openly carried their weapons at retail
stores.
