Votes 188 to 2 Against Embargo of Cuba; U.S., Israel Only Dissenters -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The United Nations General Assembly has voted nearly unanimously to condemn the U.S. embargo on Cuba for the 23rd year in a row. Just like last year, the vote was 188 to 2 with only Israel joining the United States. Three countries abstained: Palau, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands. .
