Federal Reserve Ends Quantitative Easing Program

The Federal Reserve is ending the economic stimulus program known as
quantitative easing. Since 2008, the Fed has spent trillions of dollars
on mortgage and Treasury bonds in a bid to boost the economy. The Fed
now says the program is no longer necessary due to economic
improvements.
