Burkina Faso: President Resumes Control Following Attempted Coup

In Burkina Faso, President Michel Kafando has resumed control of the
country following an attempted coup last week. Kafando was briefly
detained by the presidential guard, which is loyal to Burkina Faso's
former longtime president, Blaise Compaoré.
