June 12, 2019 Reports of Injuries After Houthi Missile Hits Saudi Airport ----------------------------------------------------------- In Saudi Arabia, a Houthi missile raid on an airport in the southwest of the country has wounded at least 26 civilians, according to a statement by the Saudi-led coalition. A number of children were reportedly among the injured civilians who were taken to a nearby hospital. The attack comes a day after Saudi officials said it intercepted two Houthi drones in the south of the country. No damage or casualties were reported from that attack. The ongoing war in Yemen between the U.S.-backed Saudi coalition and Houthi rebels has led to the world's worst humanitarian disaster. The U.N. estimates that the combined death toll from fighting, hunger and disease has reached nearly a quarter-million since the start of the conflict. .
