Pope Francis Rejects Resignation of Cardinal Who Covered Up Sexual Abuse

In more news about the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has rejected the
resignation of French Cardinal Philippe Barbarin, who was found guilty
of failing to report allegations of sexual abuse against Boy Scouts in
his diocese the 1980s and '90s. Barbarin will instead temporarily "step
aside."
