France: Archbishop of Lyon Sentenced for Child Sexual Abuse Cover-Up

In France, a court on Thursday sentenced Cardinal Philippe Barbarin-the
Roman Catholic archbishop of Lyon-to a 6-month suspended prison sentence
for failing to act on the sexual abuse of Boy Scouts in his diocese. The
archbishop was found guilty of failing to report allegations of abuse in
the 1980s and '90s by a priest who is set to go on trial later this
year.
