Report: U.S. Military Spending Is Higher Than Next Eight Countries Combined

A new report on global military spending finds the United States spent
$649 billion last year on its military-that's nearly as much as the next
eight countries combined. The Stockholm International Peace Research
Institute's report found China spent the second most, at $250 billion,
followed by Saudi Arabia, India and France.
