U.N. Warns 40% of North Koreans in Need of Food Assistance

In more news from North Korea, the United Nations warned Friday around
40% of the population is urgently in need of food aid after the country
experienced its worst harvest in a decade. International sanctions
imposed on North Korea are a major contributing factor to its food
insecurity. Kim Jong-un has sought relief from sanctions as part of any
denuclearization deal with the United States.
