Afghanistan: Taliban Raid Security HQ, Killing 13

In Afghanistan, Taliban officials claimed responsibility for a raid on a
police headquarters in the northern province of Baghlan Sunday, which
killed at least 13 people and wounded dozens, including at least 20
civilians. The attack came following a proposed Ramadan ceasefire by
Afghan president Ashraf Ghani. The Taliban rejected the proposal amid
ongoing peace talks with the United States.
