Russian Court Denies Pretrial Release to Wall Street Journal Reporter Evan Gershkovich

Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich appeared in a Moscow
courtroom today, where a judge denied his request to be released from
pretrial detention. Reporters were briefly allowed to photograph
Gershkovich, who was held in a glass enclosure, wearing a T-shirt and
blue jeans. He's been jailed since March on espionage charges and faces
up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
