   DEVONtechnologies has updated all three editions of its [1]DEVONagent
   research software (Lite, Express, and Pro) to version 3.8.3. The
   updates bring native support for the DuckDuckGo search engine to all
   three editions (to learn more about this up-and-coming search engine,
   see '[2]Search in Privatewith DuckDuckGo,' 20 August 2014). The Express
   and Pro editions also adds an option to stop a search as soon as you
   open a result, updates the Macintosh News search sets and Facebook
   Profiles plug-in, improves handling of HTML and HTTP dates, and makes
   termination of frozen background tasks more reliable. (All updates are
