Schmitz St. Clair Software has released [1]Default Folder X 4.6.12 with a fix for a niggling problem in OS X 10.10 Yosemite that caused Save As sheets in some applications to grow by 22 pixels each time you saved a file (which was noted by Jason Snell at the [2]Six Colors Web site). The Open and Save dialog enhancement utility also correctly tracks recently used folders in Carbon applications running on Yosemite, ensures that Default Folder X's contextual menu works as it should in file dialogs that use column view on Yosemite, updates tags when AppleScript is used to change the name of the file being saved, and reorganizes the menubar menu to place more frequently-used items at the top.
