Three Long-Missing Women Found Alive in Cleveland Three U.S. women who had been missing for about a decade have been found alive in a residential area of Cleveland. Police say all three women - Amanda Berry, Gina Dejesus, and Michele Knight - are in good condition and have been taken to a local hospital. They say three brothers have been arrested in connection with the disappearances, but have given few other details. Neighbors say they were alerted to the women`s location Monday after hearing screams for help coming from a house. Berry then used a neighbor`s phone to make a frantic call to the police. "Help me! I`m Amanda Berry. I need police. I`ve been kidnapped and I`ve been missing for 10 years, and I`m here, I`m free now." Berry was reported missing in 2003 at the age of 16 when she did not return home from work at a local restaurant. Dejesus, then 14, vanished a year later on her way home from school. Knight was about 20 years old when she disappeared in 2002. The cases had not been thought to be related before now. Police earlier said a 52-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case. Local media reports identified him as Ariel Castro, the owner of the house where the women were found. The house was located very close to where Dejesus and Berry had last been seen. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/three-longmissing-women-found-alive-i n-cleveland/1655930.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/three-longmissing-women-found-alive-in-cleveland/1655930.html
