Khan Expected to Recover from Fall Pakistani doctors say politician and former cricketer Imran Khan`s injuries from his dramatic fall are not life-threatening. Khan, head of the Pakistan Movement for Justice party, fell more than four meters Tuesday when he and several other people were on a lift device at a political rally in the eastern city of Lahore. Doctors say they have advised Khan to stay in bed and rest for about a week. A televised statement that Khan gave overnight from his hospital bed urged people to vote for his PTI party in the May 11 elections. Saturday`s vote will mark a democratic milestone in a country ruled for half its history by the military. It will be the first time a civilian government has served a full term and handed power to another through the ballot box. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/khan-expected-to-recover-from-fall/16 56733.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/khan-expected-to-recover-from-fall/1656733.html
