BRITAIN ATTACK - V British Prime Minister David Cameron says the brutal murder of a man in London Wednesday appears to be a terrorist attack. A man believed to be a serving British soldier was killed in broad daylight near the Royal Artillery Barracks in the Woolwich area of southeast London. Speaking at a press conference in Paris, Mr. Cameron called the attack appalling and said there were strong indications that it is a terrorist incident. Armed police shot and wounded the two suspected attackers. One broadcaster showed footage of what seemed to be one of the attackers, carrying a blood-covered knife and making threatening statements. Home Secretary Theresa May chaired a meeting of COBRA, the government`s emergency committee. A number of weapons were reportedly being used in the attack. Mr. Cameron said he would cut short his visit to France and return to London. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/britain-attack--v/1666430.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/britain-attack--v/1666430.html
