                   3 Indian Soldiers Killed in Kashmir Attack

   An army official in Kashmir says rebels have fatally shot three
   soldiers in an ambush.
   Authorities say the attack took place Friday outside Srinagar, the main
   city on the Indian section of Kashmir.
   Rebel groups have been fighting for years for independence from India
   or a merger with Pakistan.
   Kashmir is divided between India and Pakistan and they have fought two
   wars over its control.
