Israeli President Says Israeli-Palestinian Peace 'Possible' Israeli President Shimon Peres says it is possible for Israelis and Palestinians to overcome their differences and establish peace. He made the remarks Sunday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Jordan. Mr. Peres said loss of the opportunity for reconciliation would lead to great disappointment. He said achieving the goal should not require too much time. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who will be in Jordan Sunday, said recently that Israelis and Palestinians need to take the "hard decisions" to restart peace talks. Kerry is on his fourth Middle East visit in three months. After meeting separately with Israeli and Palestinian officials last week, Kerry urged both sides to drop all preconditions and restart peace negotiations. The Middle East peace talks have been largely stalled over the past four years. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/israeli-president-says-israelipalesti nian-peace-possible/1668498.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/israeli-president-says-israelipalestinian-peace-possible/1668498.html
