                      Gunmen Kill Polio Worker in Pakistan

   Last year, World Health Organization officials suspended a polio
   vaccination campaign in Pakistan after a series of attacks on polio
   workers left at least eight people dead.
   Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria are the only three countries where
   polio remains endemic.
   Meanwhile, officials say two people were killed and about a dozen
   injured in a blast in Peshawar.
   Also, officials say gunmen shot dead a lawyer and his two children in
   Karachi. Authorities say the attackers opened fire on high court lawyer
   Kosar Saqlain as he was taking his children to school.
