      Republican Presidential Front-runner Trump Cheered at Arizona Rally

   Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump held a campaign rally
   Saturday in Fountain Hills, Arizona, near the Mexican border, where he
   told backers he was "winning by massive landslides,'' vowed to rebuild
   the military and build a border wall with Mexico.

   The billionaire developer drew cheers from the crowd when he also vowed
   to protect the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, which for
   pro-gun Arizona is a particularly important issue.

   Trump spoke alongside noted Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who
   lives in Fountain Hills, and former Arizona Republican Governor Janice
   "Jan" Brewer. Both have endorsed Trump.

   Arizona, where Latinos make up more than 30 percent of the population,
   is the next major state to hold a winner-take-all Republican primary in
   the presidential nominating contest. Residents will vote Tuesday.

   Earlier, protesters blocked a main highway leading into Fountain Hills,
   a Phoenix suburb. About 50 protesters parked their cars in the middle
   of the road, holding a banner that read "Dump Trump" and chanting
   "Trump is hate" to try to prevent Trump supporters from reaching the
   rally.

   The blockage caused a lengthy traffic backup, and drivers honked their
   horns in frustration. Police outside the rally said they arrested three
   protesters.

   ''In New York, meanwhile, a coalition of groups rallied Saturday
   against Trump's bid for the White House.

   Trump's blunt criticisms and insults directed at other candidates have
   polarized the American electorate but have made him the standout in the
   Republican contest.
