Internet Reacts to Belgium Massacre by VOA News The Internet can be [1]silly, but it can also be moving in times of strife. Not long after bomb blasts ripped through the airport and a subway station in Brussels, Belgium Tuesday, killing dozens and wounding hundreds more, the Internet erupted in emotional tributes to victims. Like with the Paris attacks, many reactions featured the Belgian flag as well as Brussels tourist spots such as the famous statue of a cherubic little boy urinating called Manneken Pis. The attacks also spawned the expected hashtags, including #JeSuisBruxelles, or "I am Brussels,"#prayforbrussels and #prayforbelgium.
