## On My Motivation

Phrack Magazine articles meet the following conditions:

- they are of cultural as well as historical importance,
- they are of interest to the technically inclined,
- they are written in plain ascii txt.

For that very reasons they are of particular importance for text-file
loving technology enthusiasts - and that's exactly why I mirror and
display them for informational and educational purposes as well as for
aesthetic reasons in gopherspace.


## 'Mind Your Mindset' or 'On Violence' 

Some articles within Phrack Magazine describe weapons, some drugs or
explosives. Some concern violence. Some use explicit language or use
very clear sexual references.
If you are easily offended or worried: you(!) need to know where to
stop reading. ... and where/why to continue ...


## On Hacker-Stereotypes

Don't ever start confusing hacking with violence or with breaking the
law.
Hacking is about exploration, not about exploitation. About creation,
construction and curiosity, not about malice and destruction. This
difference is as subtle as it is crucial, and it is as clever as a
hack itself.
