What is MetaFilter Music?

MetaFilter Music is a site for members to upload their own songs for others to enjoy and share. MeFi members can upload up to one song per day, MP3 only, with a 10Mb limit. Please upload covers sparingly. Please do not upload things that are not your own work in some way - this includes work by your friends and mashups of copyrighted stuff.

Any logged in user can listen to the music or make music playlists. The site is not intended to be a hosting service to be linked to externally and it's not intended to be promo space for your band. This is the MetaTalk thread announcing it. This is the tags page for it.
