MEFI FANT FOOT
It's that time again: Is anyone interested in Metafilter Fantasy (American) Football for the upcoming NFL season? All of the fun of football, translated into numbers a computer can understand!
Yahoo has done one of its periodic refreshes, meaning that the former league's chat seems to have been shut down. But I'm hoping to get 10 teams together, half PPR, and to enjoy another year of pun-filled team names, positively genteel trash talk, and watching waiver wire players churn like TikTok dances.
If you haven't done it before, it takes about an hour of time per week, and about an hour on draft day.
If enough folks are interested and the old Commish hasn't set up a league by end of day Wednesday, I'll start one and post the invite here.

Also: Anyone who joins is entered in a $1 million sweepstakes, apparently. By Yahoo, not me. I don't have a million dollars. But if you win, you could definitely save Metafilter for uh the next 20 years or so, right?
