New Wiki Post for USA Voting Support

Using the information from several recent posts about how to support voter turnout in the upcoming U.S. Presidential election, I have created a VotingSupport page in Metafilter Wiki that lists specific organizations that work to educate and support voters. If you are looking for somewhere to volunteer, donate, or get help in voting, I hope you will take a look at this page.
This page is a work in progress; as you encounter other organizations that would fit into this list, please feel free to add them. (It's easy! I know, because I have never done anything like this before and yet I got it done.) Speaking of how this got done, it was inspired by threads posted initially by Notlost, kristi, nat, and lalochezia. The individual organizations were pulled from their original posts and the many comments posted by MeFites. Once I got the idea , nothing could have happened without the very patient help from travelingthyme and jessamyn. You are all the best!

Hot dang, this is great! Thank you! Mods, etiquette question: okay to put a link to this in a comment to posts where it seems apropos? Or is that uncool?

Can we throw in Vote from Abroad to help out all the 'Ricans living outside the States?

Also, if you want, I can get you the info of each of the individual country committees for "Democrats Abroad" to help people register.

Thank you for all the kind comments. While I truly meant it when I said that anybody could add material to this website, I have decided that I will continue to add sites rather than waiting for others to put them up. I think it's more important to get as much information as possible in one place than to be fussy about who does it. That said, I have added Vote from Abroad and the voting page from the National Coalition for the Homeless website.

This is awesome!

I have been talking to my young adult kids about the election, and it's great to turn the advice about "check your voter registration" into "hey, let's check your voter registration right this second."

I just asked for suggestions on AskMe (I didn't know about this MeTa until someone linked it there), and a friend I'd been talking to outside MetaFilter suggested Indivisible, which looks really great!
