Old School Gaming Forum

Something  that  might  be  of interest  to  gopher-denizens  is  my
[old-school gaming forum][0]. I originally created it to replace the
defunct Swords & Wizardry community  forums, but I later reworked it
a  bit to  be more  general.  Most of  the traffic  recently is  for
play-by-post  games,  but  it's  wide  open  for  old-school  gaming
discussion and  might appeal  to anyone tired  of social-media-style
walled-garden communities which are so prevalent nowadays (MeWe, the
big F, Discord).

The forum is a standard, open  web forum that anyone can read. Sadly
you'll need a web browser with  javascript enabled to register - due
to the rash  of spam signups when  the forum first opened,  I had to
enable a  javascript-based 'sortables' captcha (I  was determined to
**never** use  Google's recaptcha).   That has  worked very  well in
eliminating spam -  and after registering, the forum  works great in
text browsers like elinks, no javascript required.
