       Man dead, another fighting for life in horror crash in Rochedale

       One man is dead and another is fighting for life after a car slammed
       into a pole in Brisbane's southside.
        
       Police said initital investigations indicated a Subaru Impreza was
       travelling along Rochedale Road, near Grieve Road, in Rochedale when
       it left the road and struck a pole.
        
       The passenger, a 19-year-old male, was declared dead at the scene.
        
       The driver, a 33-year-old male, was taken to Princess Alexandra
       Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
        
       Queensland Ambulance Service's High Acuity Response Unit was sent to
       the crash site.
        
       Motorists are urged to avoid Rochedale Road near Grieve Road.
        
       Anyone who witnessed the crash, or with relevant footage is urged to
