The Company

Dover is building the first end-to-end recruiting automation platform
for the world's top companies. We combine best-in-class candidate
evaluation technology with bespoke process automation to help
companies find and hire top talent for their open roles.

Recruiting is a $50B/year industry in the US, but recruiting
departments and agencies still have incredibly manual processes.
Recruiters and hiring managers spend countless hours on
administrative work like sourcing, scheduling, coordination, and
juggling dozens of recruiting tools, so they have less time to do
what they do best: pitch and close candidates.

We've built a better way. Our advanced matching software identifies
the perfect candidates across all recruiting channels and candidate
sources, and drives the hiring process to create a seamless,
white-glove experience for both companies and candidates.

Dover went through Y Combinator in 2019, and today 80+ companies use
our product to run a better hiring process. We've raised $3M from top
VCs and are currently profitable. We're a team of 20 with a hub in
San Francisco and presence in Boston, NYC, LA and DC.

The Role

Dover is looking for our first Growth Engineer to lead engineering
and product development across our marketing and sales functions.
Your work will involve building the foundational growth levers that
will help us scale from 100 to 1000+ clients over the next few years.

This is a unique role at the company-you'll report directly to our
CEO and work closely with our founders and Chief of Staff.

Some projects you might work on:

  * Lead development efforts on our suite of free products (see the
    "Tools" section at the top of dover.io for some examples of what
    we've already built)
  * Leverage Dover's infrastructure to build sophisticated automation
    into our sales and upsell processes
  * Support growth initiatives across the organization

About You

  * 2-5 years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience
  * Experience building beautiful products/projects end-to-end
  * Strong design sense
  * Desire to hustle
  * Desire to own engineering, product design, and marketing
  * (Nice to have) Experience as a founder or early employee at a
    startup
